Pre-School at DGA

Parent/Carer & Child - Fees - £4.00 'pay on the day' no booking required.
Toddlers must be directly supervised at all times by their parent/carer.


 
                       Clothing for DGA Pre-school                              
For all the pre-school classes, suitable clothes must be worn. No jeans, dresses or skirts, zips, buttons, tassels, or belts. T-shirt and shorts/jogging bottoms/leggings are best. Bare feet. 

No jewellery may be worn at any time during classes. This is the policy of British Gymnastics who operate ‘zero tolerance’ towards the wearing of jewellery by any age gymnast or coach. This means that if your child has recently had their ears pierced or are wearing any form of decoration, i.e. face paint, beaded hair braids, friendship bracelets, they will not be allowed to take part in their class until they can be safely removed. 

No toys or comfort blankets to be taken into, or carried around in, the gym. No dummies











DGA Recreational Classes

Classes take place on:

Saturday 10.15 - 11.15 Recreational (Boys + Girls)
Saturday 11.30 - 12.30 Recreational (Boys + Girls)
Saturday  11.30 - 13.00  Recreational 11+ only (Boys + Girls)

No jewellery may be worn at any time during classes. This is the policy of British Gymnastics who operate ‘zero tolerance’ towards the wearing of jewellery by any age gymnast or coach. This means that if your child has recently had their ears pierced or are wearing any form of decoration, i.e. face paint, beaded hair braids, friendship bracelets, they will not be allowed to take part in their class until they can be safely removed.

Girls – Shorts/round-necked t-shirts may be worn if necessary for the first session, after which a leotard must be worn. Hair should always be tied back.

Boys – Shorts/round-necked t-shirts must be worn for the first few weeks, after which a boys leotard must be worn.

                       Subscription                    
£95.00 per quarter, plus British Gymnastics Annual Affiliation and Regional Membership, which is required when starting and renewable every October.

Fees are paid quarterly in advance. 


Although there will be mixed age groups at each session, gymnasts will be placed in small groups
(no more than 8) to suit their age/ability. 


             The British Gymnastics Proficiency Award Scheme      
 
                                          We follow the British Gymnastics Proficiency Award scheme                                        Children in the structured class will all work towards the British Gymnastics ABC proficiency award scheme. 


DGA Open Classes - £5.00 - ANY ONE IS WELCOME

Saturday 13:00 - 14:00   DGAdultGym+  (Dancers,Free Runners,Slackliners and Ex Gymnasts)
Friday 12:30 - 13:30          ActiveAdults (Any adults that would like to stretch and learn basic gymnastics)

DGA Development Squad
This is for our young, talented gymnasts, so we can prepare them for competitive gymnasts.

DGA Competition Squad - Girls Only

   DGA Competition Squad - Girls Only                

Gymnasts in these squads are usually selected from the recreational classes or by trial and their progress is carefully monitored at all times to ensure that they are placed at the correct level. 

They will all be expected to take part in competitions.
